What Are Herbal Granules?
Herbal granules are concentrated extracts of individual herbs that have been processed into a dry powder or granule form. They are produced by decocting raw herbs using traditional methods, concentrating the resulting liquid extract, and then spray-drying or granulating the concentrate into a stable, consistent powder.
Each granule is a concentrated representation of the original herb, standardised for potency and consistency across every batch. Granules allow practitioners to prescribe fully individualised TCM formulas with the clinical precision of raw herb decoctions — but with significantly greater convenience, consistency, and accessibility for modern patients.

From Raw Herb to Granule — The Production Process
Every batch follows rigorous quality protocols from sourcing through to final dispensing
Sourcing
Raw herbs are sourced from certified farms and established supplier partnerships. Every herb is selected for authenticity, quality, and optimal harvest timing.
Quality Testing
Incoming herbs are quarantined and tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, pesticide residues, and microbial contamination before processing begins.
Decoction
Herbs are decocted using traditional methods, extracting the full spectrum of active constituents into a liquid concentrate.
Concentration
The liquid extract is concentrated and then spray-dried or granulated into a stable, consistent dry powder form.
Final Testing
Finished granules are tested for potency, purity, moisture content, and consistency. Only batches passing all checks are approved for dispensing.
Why Practitioners Choose Granules
The clinical benefits that make granules the preferred format for modern TCM practice
Precise Individual Dosing
Each herb in the formula is dosed independently in grams, giving practitioners full control over the therapeutic weight of every ingredient.
Consistent Potency
Granules are standardised batch to batch, ensuring your patients receive the same therapeutic dose every time they refill their formula.
Highly Customisable
Build complex, multi-herb formulas tailored to each patient's unique presentation — exactly as you would with raw herbs, without the preparation burden.
Patient Convenience
No raw herb preparation required. Patients simply dissolve their dose in hot water — fast, clean, and easy.
Long Shelf Life
Granules are stable in normal dry storage conditions with a long shelf life, making them practical for patients who take their formula over extended periods.
Portable & Travel-Friendly
Granules are lightweight, compact, and easy for patients to take when travelling or away from home.

How Patients Prepare Their Granule Formula
Clear, simple instructions you can share with every patient — or include with every order
Measure
Measure the prescribed dose of granules as directed by your practitioner
Place in Cup
Place the granules into a cup or mug
Add Hot Water
Add 150–200ml of hot (not boiling) water
Stir Well
Stir well for 30–60 seconds until the granules are fully dissolved
Cool Slightly
Allow to cool slightly to a comfortable drinking temperature
Drink Fully
Drink the full contents of the cup, including any sediment at the bottom
Note: Some granules may not dissolve completely — this is normal and does not affect the therapeutic dose.
