Herb Dispenser prepares custom Chinese herbal granule and tincture formulas for practitioners and ships them to their patients. You do the prescribing. We handle the dispensing, labelling, payment and shipping.
Who runs it
Herb Dispenser is run by Jason Tarter, R.TCMP, R.Ac, a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, regulated by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). Jason trained at the Institute of Traditional Medicine and the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been in practice since 2008. That's 18 years, and Jason still treats patients at Traditional Healing Centre in Keswick.
Because Jason prescribes herbs every week, Herb Dispenser is built around the parts of dispensing practitioners find hardest: stocking hundreds of herbs, weighing and labelling each formula, collecting payment and getting the parcel out the door.
Where we are
The dispensary is in Keswick, Ontario, at 213 Queensway S., Unit 400. Orders ship from here to patients across Canada and in most other countries, and can be picked up here. Shipping to the United States is paused for now.
The ordering system
Practitioners order through a formula builder and patient portal powered by Dispensary Tree, dispensary software that Jason also built. If you run your own in-house dispensary and want the software rather than our dispensing, Dispensary Tree is the place to look.
